The Halti fell - on The Top of Europe
Snowmobilesafari from the Hetta village to the Kilpisjarvi Lake
The Halti mountain is the highest point in Finland, at 1,324 m above sea level. The Halti fell is located in the municipality of Enontekiö in the province of Lapland at the border between Finland and Norway.
We will leave in the early morning towards lake Palojarvi and the tunturi-area. Soon we will leave the treeborder behind, and the treeless tunturi area will open-up in front of us. A nice and easy route to ride. In the lunchtime we will grill sausages in wilderness cabin. In the afternoon we will arrive at lake Kilpisjärvi, where we will be accommodated in hotell cabins.
After having been equipped for the trip, we will continue past Saanatunturi towards Haltitunturi. If only the weather conditions will allow, there will be breathtaking views over the Norwegian fjords, from the top of Haltitunturi. We will return to lake Kilpisjarvi, where sauna, iceswimmin and dinner will be waiting for us.

Second day of riding
After breakfast, we will start the returntrip. The speedy trip runs on both sides of the border of Finland and Sweden, along a beautiful river-bank towards Karesuvanto. We will enjoy a meal in Karesuvanto, before continuing our trip to Hetta, where we will arrive in the afternoon.
Duration two days and one night. We drive that safari one person per snowmobile.
